One of the oldest technologies in the marketplace today is the “Bubble Cap” tray. They still continue to have several applications where they remain the best fit for the job. Applications like glycol dehydration columns for example, in natural gas processing. Where the liquid rate may be low and a wide range of operation is required. The bubble cap tray is still a good fit and widely employed. Turndown ratios up to 20:1 can be achieved as well, with a proper tray design and construction. Bubble Cap trays also remain as an excellent defense mechanism against fouling. MTL can manufacture and supply you with all sizes of bubble caps and assemblies from 2” up through 6”. This also includes all the supporting hardware and miscellaneous frog assemblies.
